Secret Canyon In an Urban Forest
Chengdu Tianfu Joy City is located in Chengdu Tianfu new area, which will be the future urban development center of Chengdu. Based on the life, culture, leisure and trend of young people, the project is a large urban complex integrating shopping centers, Grade A office buildings, high-end residences, hotels and apartments.
The project space takes "exploring the Shu Road and discovering the secret canyon in the urban forest" as the design story to create different space scenes and bring unique experiences to consumers. This project is the second important project of joy city holding Chengdu.
Project design forms the scenery of a cave in the mountain and makes it seem like can even be accessible to the sky by emphasizing dangerous, strange and precipitous characteristics of space. Through spatial guide by the cliffs, catering in the upper floors creates an ambiance of deep in the forest “Some houses are found where white clouds rise.” forming the transformation from the city to prioritized nature by the natural ecological forest running through the roofs.
